JOIN ME & JOHN KERRY at the Democratic National Convention in Boston! I have one more week to recruit about a hundred volunteers to work in critical jobs that will specifically support John Kerry's presidential campaign during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels! There are lots of ways you can help -- for example, by staffing our convention headquarter offices, leading the charge in our motorpool operation, or assisting with arrangements for campaign-hosted events or hospitality suites. In general, we ask that all of our volunteers be available to work shifts during business hours (8 A.M. – 6 P.M.) every day from Saturday, July 24 through Friday, July 30. However, we also have a great need for volunteers who can commit to shifts prior to July 24, as well as evening hours during the week of the convention. In addition, if you are a Boston native over the age of 25 and you know your way around the city, you are in particularly high demand! We need your help making sure that senior campaign staff and other campaign VIPs have volunteers they can rely on to assist them in getting around the city during the convention.
